Here are the materials you would need:

1. Yellow colored craft paper

2. Scissors

3. Googly eyes

4. Green pipe cleaner

5. Glue

6. A small bowl (to cut out the circles)

7. One coin

Step 1: Place your bowl or any other circular object on the paper and draw a circle. Each circle will make a flower. Cut out as many as you’d like!

Step 2: Now, take a coin and use it to draw a smaller circle at the center of the larger circle. To find the center of the circle, fold the paper over itself 2 times (this will now look like a quarter circle). The smaller circle will act as a guide when we start cutting out the petals. Next, use your scissors and cut along the folds as shown in the picture.

Step 3: Now cut out evenly spaced ‘petals’. Look at the picture above for reference.

Step 4: Here is the completed circle when all the petals are cut.

Step 5: Now, carefully lift/fold up every alternate petal and gather them at the center.

Step 6: Now use a pipe cleaner to carefully tie all the gathered petals. This is the stem of the flower. Once done, you can trim the excess paper.

Step 7: Now use the same coin to cut out another circle. Draw a cute face, glue googly eyes and draw a big smile!

Step 8: Once done, glue the ‘face’ to the center of our flower! You can place these in the pencil/pen stands on your kid’s tables.
